    Filmmaker, sound technician, graduated in Film & Media Studies at San Francisco State University, in California, with masters degree in Communication, major in Sound Studies at Universidade Federal fluminense, in Niterói, Rio de janeiro. Directed many short and medium length films, like RUA DA ESCADINHA 162 (2003), winner of 30 awards in different national and international festivals, among them the Best Brazilian Documentary Award in 2003 granted by the Academia Brasileira de Cinema; IDENTIDADES EM TRÂNSITO (2005) chosen as Best Documentary and winner of Best Song at the V Festival de Cinema de Maringá; TORPEDO (2009), fiction that won Best Cinematography at XXXVI Jornada Internacional de Cinema da Bahia and Best Costume at the 1º Festival Nacional de Cinema de Petrópolis; DOIDO PELO RIO (2011), fiction that won Best Actor (Maskin Oliveira) at the III Festival Cinema de Jericoacoara and Best Art Direction of the official selection at Fest Rio 2011; JOAQUIM BRALHADOR (2014), fiction that won Best Cearense Production, Best Director (Honorable Mention) and Best Actor (Paulo José). As Sound Technician worked in over 100 films in 30 years, being nominated 5 times for Best Sound Capture granted by the Academia Brasileira de Cinema and by the Associação Brasileira de Cinematografia.
